1. What this service is
Richards Bay Mechanic is an independent local enquiry and connection service. We help customers submit vehicle repair enquiries and, where possible, connect them with relevant local mechanics or workshops in and around Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal.
2. What this service is not
Richards Bay Mechanic is not a mechanic, repair workshop, towing company, vehicle dealer, insurer, or emergency service. We are not affiliated with Volkswagen, Audi, or any vehicle manufacturer. We do not inspect vehicles, diagnose faults, provide repair quotes, perform repairs, sell parts, or guarantee workshop availability.
3. Third-party mechanics and workshops
Any repair work, quote, call-out fee, diagnosis, parts supply, payment, warranty, refund, timeline, or complaint is between you and the mechanic or workshop you choose to deal with. You are responsible for confirming the provider’s qualifications, pricing, terms, workmanship, and warranty before accepting any work.
4. No guarantee of repair outcome
We may try to connect you with a suitable local provider, but we do not guarantee that your vehicle will be repaired, that a provider will be available, that a quote will be accepted, or that the final repair cost will match any early estimate.
5. Customer responsibility
When submitting an enquiry, you agree to provide accurate information about:
- Your contact details
- Your location or service area
- Your vehicle make and model
- The problem you are experiencing
- Whether the vehicle is safe to drive or not
You should not submit false enquiries, spam, abusive messages, or sensitive information such as banking details, ID numbers, passwords, or private documents.
6. Emergency situations
This website is not an emergency breakdown or roadside safety service. If you are in danger, stuck in an unsafe place, or involved in an accident, contact emergency services, your insurer, or a trusted roadside assistance provider immediately.

The information on this website is provided for general enquiry and lead connection purposes only. We try to keep information accurate, but we do not guarantee that all service descriptions, areas, response times, or provider availability will always be correct or up to date.
